Sukabumi Green Stone is the world’s most recognized natural stone for luxury pools. Quarried in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia, it is the only stone with natural zeolitic properties that reduce chlorine or salt consumption by up to 20% – a technical advantage that no stoneware, ceramic tile or other material can match.
Its most visual feature is the turquoise effect: the pool water takes on a unique natural and luminous turquoise green color, without pigments or treatments. It is exactly the shade that defines Bali-style pools and luxury resorts in Indonesia, the Maldives and the Caribbean. When the light hits the water, the result is simply inimitable.
As a natural pool stone, Sukabumi Green Stone is non-slip in all conditions, resistant to extreme temperatures and does not degrade in salt water or chlorine. Three finishes available depending on the use:
The Sawn Cut is the recommended finish for the interior of the pool: uniform surface, easy to clean, ideal for underwater lining. The Honed Cut has the tightest pore, which makes installation easier for the installer and minimizes the impact of dirt during the process. The Rough Cut (Split Face) is the most natural and textured finish, recommended for exterior pool elements such as edges and beaches.
