Black Stone
Black Lava Stone, also known as black volcanic stone, is a rock formed under extremely high pressure in the volcanoes of Java, Indonesia. Its most striking feature is its color effect: deep black when wet, gray with dark shades when dry. This contrast makes each pool visually unique – especially in infinity or overflow pools, where the black stone border and the sky merge into the horizon.
It is one of the most thermally retentive pool stones on the market: it maintains the heat of the water in a natural way and resists without problems both frost and the most direct sun. It is used both inside the pool and in crowns, pool beaches, jacuzzis and outdoor spas.
At SKB Sukabumi we import the Black Lava Stone directly from Indonesia with piece by piece selection, which guarantees the homogeneity of the color and the precise cut that facilitates the installation. If you want to see projects made with Black Lava, please visit our gallery of Balinese pools.
